Frequently Asked Questions

What are your contact details?

Please contact us at [email protected] or 0423 106 006.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required. If you wish to receive rebates from Medicare then you will require a referral from your GP.

How do I receive rebates for my visits?

If you have Extras cover with a private health fund, you can claim for part of the cost of the service - contact your health fund for more details. Instructions are available here.

Medicare can cover part of the cost of the service for a limited number of appointments (generally a maximum of five per year) - you will need a referral from your GP to claim from Medicare. The rebate is roughly $60 per session. Instructions are available here.

Note that the client will be responsible for claiming private health fund and Medicare rebates - this is not performed by Jane Wills Speech Pathology.

Are you a registered NDIS Provider?

I can provide therapy to NDIS clients who are self managed or plan managed, but am not registered to provide therapy for those clients that are NDIA managed. If you are covered by NDIS (and there is funding in your NDIS plan for speech pathology), then inform us prior to your first visit so an appropriate NDIS plan can be put in place.

What type of clients do you work with?

We do not work with adults. If you require adult speech pathology, we suggest contacting Revesby Speech Pathology or Speech Pathology Australia.

We work exclusively with children. Note that we do not work with children with feeding and / or swallowing difficulties. If your child has feeding and / or swallowing difficulties, we suggest contacting Harrington Speech or Speech Pathology Australia.

We currently service children that attend Thomas Hassall Anglican College.

What are your fees / prices?
